Workers Compensation Eye Injury...

by Mike
(Tennessee, USA)

I was on a forklift when the hydraulic line busted. Fluid hit me in both eyes and now I have floaters. The doctor said that they might go away in time but doesn't know how long. On a sunny day all I can see is floaters. Can I get compensated for this?

ANSWER for "Workers Compensation Eye Injury...":

Mike:

The only way you are going to find out is if you file a claim and go through the Workers Compensation process. According to the facts you present your claim should be accepted and processed accordingly.

If you are working for a company bound by the Workman’s Compensation Act and were injured on the job there should not be any reason your claim will be denied.

Since laws change frequently and across jurisdictions you should get a personalized case evaluation from an attorney licensed in your state (if you haven't already). Find an experienced local attorney to give you a FREE personalized case review here.
