I'm involved in a back injury workmans comp settlement and have a question. I injured my back at my part-time job. I'd been on light duty for over 7 months until I got fired for being tardy two weeks ago.
I signed a separation notice last week when I went into the office for my last paycheck. My attorney didn't tell me NOT to sign anything until I did it. I've suffered with a severe back spasm in my lower back. I've had an MRI, back x-ray, physical therapy, and weekly visits to the Doctor.
Will I be able to negotiate a settlement in Georgia for over $40,000 if I don't have surgery, but do receive an epidural in my back? Thanks.
