Two Accidents in One Day...

I had 2 accidents in the same day and was injured. Now I don't know which is responsible for my injuries. At 6:00am a young lady rear ended me while I was driving. I went to the hospital to get checked out. Then when I got back from the hospital I fell off a ladder on my landlord's property.

I don't know how to figure out which accident is responsible for my injuries? Maybe both of them are but how could I pursue both the driver and the landlord to pay for my injuries? I'm sure it will be complicated. Thank you.

The facts you present seem to indicate after you were “rear-ended” you were checked out at the hospital. But there was no mention of injuries.

If you suffered injuries as a result of the car collision there should be some verifiable and documented medical reports. Those can include, but not be limited to, your Admitting Chart and other hospital records.

If you were admitted, documentation might also include the emergency room physician's diagnosis and prognosis of your injuries. That information should be contained in your medical charts as well. If applicable, go to the hospital and get copies of those records.
