Settlement for Carpal Tunnel...

My wife had a carpal tunnel claim in the state of Washington. She had surgery and then the claim was closed with no ppd award.

I thought my wife would get a little something for her carpal tunnel syndrome when her claim was closed but nothing happened. Is she entitled to anything?

I think we need more information in order to assess your question such as: Why the claim was closed? If it was a statute of limitations issue, or an administrative claim that did not meet the 6 month requirement, this would factor into why it was closed in the first place.

Secondly, was this a workers compensation claim? This carries with it even more specialized rules and requirements. Please provide a bit more detail and we can give you a thorough assessment of your question.
