Is my home injury covered by my home owners insurance?

I was working in the garage at my home on March 20, 2011, I fell off of a step ladder, breaking my hip in the process. I had to have surgery and had a pin placed in my upper leg. I was out of work for 8 weeks with no pay.
I do have health insurance that covered 80% of the bill, but can my home owners insurance cover the remaining bills? (Hospital- $3,944.00; Physical Therapy, in-house and out-patient, is not yet determined as I'm still getting PT services once per week for two more weeks.) Thank you.

ANSWER for "Is my home injury covered by my home owners insurance?":
Phyliss:
In most cases Homeowner’s Policies cover the type of injuries you suffered. Homeowner’s policies aren’t just for guests. Most cover the owners as well. We suggest you pull out your policy and take a close look at it. We are pretty confident your injuries will be covered.
All you should have to do is call your insurance agent if you have one. If not, locate the 800 or 888 telephone number on the policy. Call the company. We think you will be pleasantly surprised to find you are covered.
Since laws change frequently and across jurisdictions you should get a personalized case evaluation from an attorney licensed in your state (if you haven't already). Find an experienced local attorney to give you a
