From the year 2000 moving forward, are there any workmans comp laws that would give compensation for taking a job with less pay after the accident?

So, if you're making x amount per hour and had to take a job that payed less, would you be compensated the amount lost per hour or rewarded adjustments? Thanks.

The Oklahoma Workers Compensation Act does not provide relief for accepting a job at a lower pay rate after a Workers Compensation case has been settled. Normally the compensation received and agreed upon does not cover additional amounts of just about any kind.

There are exceptions for those who are able to prove the new lower paying job assignment was a demotion based upon retribution for filing a Workers Compensation claim or as a result of racial, age, gender, or sexual discrimination.
