I was in an auto accident and need some legal advice. I was inching out of a gas station to see around a snow bank when all of a sudden I was t-boned. I don't know how fast the other person was going but I wasn't going over 5 miles per hour. I didn't even see her. I was cut out of the car.

I suffered a fractured pelvis in two different spots. The other driver didn't even go to the hospital. She signed off on it. It has been 2 months. Now all of a sudden she has a lawyer. How can she sue me?

It would be interesting to know if you were issued a citation by the police, especially if the citation was for “failing to yield right of way.” Regretfully, if you were inching out of a gas station onto a street or highway and there wasn’t a traffic light or stop sign, then the person you hit probably had the right of way.
